Interview with sophie maddison this will be a mid shot with long shots of the cars.
this will go from seeing sophie talking to her voice over cars and back again to her to keep the viewers interst
06:00
06:20
we will transition to the event going on around the us we will spend about 20 minutes getting futage from one spot and then speed it up when we come to edit the documentary
this will give the effect of how busy and thriving the car enthusiast show looks.
06:20
07:00
I will then film myself walking around looking at different cars using close ups on details long shots of the cars and mid shots.
this will show the viewer why people like to modify their cars
07:00
08:00
A private interview with Andrew Gaffney and i will be talking about why he likes modifying cars
this will split the time of having nothing being said to keep the viewr interested
08:00
08:10
finish with a fade as i sweep over the event to a transition back to the next part of our documentary
this will make our documentary look professional and will be achived by using some ladders.
00:00
00:00
i will be getting a third interview as back up incase one of my interviews doesnt go very well
this will help with the documentary as i will be able to pick the best interview or make it longer and add all three in.
8:00-

A quick insight into what we planned to do at Open Minds and what their company is all about, a summary in other words. Close up of us explaining the content and what Open Minds do.
This will help the audience understand what Open Minds is, who they are and why we are interviewing them, rather than just jumping into the interview. We may possibly do this bit during the establishing shots.
8:10-
8:15
We will then get footage of us entering Open Minds. Mixture of Long, mid and pan shots combined with close ups and POV’s
Doing this will hep set the scene of our interview and where we went to get it.
8:15-
8:20
To follow the previous shot, we will then get some close ups and long shots outside the location to use as cut aways and establishing shots.
As mentioned before, doing this would provide the audience some context of where the interview took place.
8:20-
8:30
To pair the previous shots outside the company, we would then like to film a varity of different shots inside, to also ‘establish’ and give the watcher aview into the company itself. Much like the previous shots but with the exclusion of long shots.

8:30-
8:40
After that, we would then film a POV shot of either one of us shaking the staff member being interviewed and then cut to the interview itself. Possibly the POV maybe replaced with another shot, like over the shoulder or MID shot instead.
Doing this allows us to give context on who we are interviewing, their name etc.. rather than just going straight into the interview without first introducing them to the audience. We are planning to do a voice over during this scene, in which we will speak abou twho they are.
8:40-??
Depending on how long the interview is, we will be doing a continious shot and will keep the camera rolling while the camera is faced on the person being interview, whislt being placed at an angle in which you can still see us somewhat. We will do this in mid shot as it would fit best for an interview.
Being a continious shot makes it easier to edit and also takes away the nessesity of changing camera angles during the interview which would seem quite disrespectful to the interviewee.
??-??
Because we do not know how long the interview will last, it is hard to guess the timings, but however after the interview, we wil show statistics and existing videos, supporting what the person interviewed as mentioned as this would give the audience some infomation and would educate them more in this subject.
The use of existing videos and statistics will help back up what has been mnentioned during the interview, it would also, as i have mentioned earlier, help the audience understand and learn about our topic.
We have planned to do another interview with a psychology teacher, as it would balance our professional advice and information with the actual people with obsessions etc.. So when we get more infomation on this interview, we would then be in a position to record how we are going to shoot it, although it will have to be definitely during this coming week, due to deadlines.
This part of the shooting script will be added after we can sort and arrange filming, if we can agree on times, dates etc..

MAGGIE WINTER INTERVIEW
| |
9:45:
10:00
Before we show the interview and the interviewee, We had thought about placing a section of us explaining why we decided to interview Maggie and what the context and relevance of this is to our documentary.
This part would be shot after the documentary in the studio, as then we would have acesss to the green screen which would be benifical.
10:00-
14:42
MS- This interview, as we have planned anyway, will be all one shot with me and my partners feeing questions to the interviewee, because we are all keeping it in one shot, it will be much easier to edit and it makes the person we are interviewing feel much more at ease, due to the fact that they don’t need to worry about messing up, i.e stuttering and need the question repeating to them. Ideally we would want a multi camera production, but because of the time constraints in the deadline week, it wouldn’t be possible to get more than one for shooting and as a result we will need to make due with the equipment that we can get.
As mentioned in the adjacent column, we feel that shooting the interview all in one take would ease the editing process and would put less pressure and stress on the person being interviewed, plus it would be quite difficult to get more than one camera so we will have to make due with what we can get at such short notice.
14:43:
15:00
Just as we did before the interview with Maggie, we have intended to place a section at the end of all the interviews of me and my partners thanking each person that took the time to help us make this documentary.
Again, this would be shot afterwards and we can use this time and shot to use as a sign out and also a thank you.
